So, this one will blow your mind! I'm kind of a "Grammar Nazi", which drives my husband nuts, but my daughter has definitely followed in my footsteps. She was ten while I was writing Only You, but she was my main beta reader. As such, she ended up being my primary grammar editor for my rough draft. When it came time to tweak the manuscript and make final edits, I was able to finish most of it in one day because of all the hard work she did! (This is a kid who scored a tenth grade reading level during her 1st grade standardized testing.) Crazy, right?!

Paddy's roommate Johnny Messer has an entourage in Hello, I Love You. They are all based on friends of mine from college. I was a performance theatre major, so most of my friends were either into performance theatre, technical theatre, or film.

I currently have plans for four Hollywood Hearts Series books. The third one will be Johnny's story, and will include his whole gang on a 7-day cruise! And yes, in real life, all those tattooed boys that hang out with Johnny are GORGEOUS with a capital G!

I wrote the entire Only You rough draft during the month of October 2013. I work a full-time job in corporate America, so on the weekends, my husband would take my kids to the park or on a hike to get them out of the house so I wasn't distracted. While I was TOTALLY jealous of the great time they had and the pics my hubby posted on Facebook, I wouldn't have been able to do it without him.
